If your bags are lost or delayed it’s important you speak to Virgin's baggage hall staff before you leave the airport, as they aren’t able to accept responsibility for delayed baggage reported to us once you have left.
Virgin Atlantic have baggage services staff in the baggage reclaim hall at each of the airports they fly into and Central Baggage Claims departments in the UK and the US. Virgin are also members of the global baggage tracing system, 'WorldTracer', which links them to the baggage offices of more than 2,200 airport locations.
It’s important that you give their baggage staff a good description of any delayed bags, as WorldTracer matches your description against bags that are being held at airports with no identification. As soon as your bag is located they will arrange for it to be delivered to you.
